Get your writing style for AI.
Use it to generate copy that sounds more like you and less like AI.
What this does.
Give the app 10,000 words of content that you have written personally, and it will generate a prompt for tools like ChatGPT or Claude that you can use to ensure AI-generated copy is written in your own unique style.
Please read our terms and conditions of use before using the tool (opens in a new tab). By using this tool, you agree to these terms.
How this works.
Our AI analyses your supplied content for your own unique writing style and tone of voice and then generates a detailed prompt for you to use. Once you have your prompt, you can cut and paste it into your AI tool or create your own GPT or Claude tool using the prompt.
How to use this tool.
The tool works best when you provide it with a diverse range of examples of your writing style. These could be full blog posts, emails you’ve written or social media posts. The more varied the supplied copy, the better the prompt will be when you use it.
What not to do.
We do not store any of the text you enter in this tool. For security purposes, please do not include any personal information, such as email addresses, usernames, or passwords.
Why is it so important to write like a person?
Making sure your website content sounds like you is crucial in getting your site ranking.
With millions of AI-generated pages being created daily, Search Engines like Google are looking for informed and experienced content that they can trust.
If you use AI to generate your content, but don’t use it properly, your content sounds and reads the same as everyone else’s – which kills your chances of surfacing in the search.
Write content that sounds like you.
Search engines, such as Google, can identify AI-generated content. While this is not always a bad thing (if the content is genuinely helpful), they prefer content written by an actual person to comply fully with their own EEAT guidelines.
You are providing an answer to a user’s needs. So, as a B2B or B2C service provider, your own experience and unique way of writing content can see you outrank much larger competitors that use generic content.
Get the best out of this tool.
Add lots of your own written text.
Give the tool as much as you can from as many varied sources as you can – include professional responses to emails, blog posts where you’ve had a rant about something or notes to colleagues (don’t include anything personal). This will result in the tool getting a broad range of your writing style.
Copy the text the tool generates.
Download or copy the text that the tool generates for you and save it somewhere – ideally, you only need to do this once for your own use.
Once you’ve downloaded your text, you can then use it as a prompt for AI.
Create a custom GPT or Claude project.
If you have a paid account on ChatGPT or Claude, you can create a custom GPT or project where you can then add the style guide you’ve generated and use it when you prompt these apps to generate content for you.
If you don’t have access to Custom GPTs or Projects.
Copy/paste the writing style guide into your app every time you get it to write some content for you, and use a prompt similar to the one below to go with it.
This will help the AI generate content written in your own unique style.
Example prompt:
“Use my writing style guide as a reference when creating content. My tone should always reflect a knowledgeable British professional, written in UK English, concise, direct, and never padded. Avoid over-explanation, fancy punctuation, or emotional language. Keep formatting clean, use standard bullet points only, and never use em dashes. Maintain my usual clarity and structure as if I wrote it myself.”
